Document Future by raccoon

November 15th, 2007 7:54 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Document an instance of the Future.

So, it hasnt happened in the future now, but in the past, i recognized the future.

HERE IS HOW.

This goes back to my days in highschool, which of course is the prime time for you to visit yourself when you have a time machine. You are becoming the you and so forth that you will be, so its a good time to lay down some plans. Show up and drop off a copy of a David Lynch film or something.
Of course i could always have left myself the time machine, but knowing me, thats not what i would do. Whatever it was i have to go thru in the future to GET the time machine in the first place, plus my life up to that point, will of course be so awesome that i wouldnt want to cheat myself out of it.

So i just like to leave notes.

First Day of 8th grade, we got our locker assignments and combinations, and i head to my locker for the first time. Only at that moment knowing where i would be keeping my trapper keeper and sandwiches. I stepped up to my locker for the first time. looked at it, looked at the lock and checked the combo i had been given. I used it to open the Locker AND INSIDE WAS A NOTE ADDRESSED TO ME.

HEY DAVID, HAVE A GREAT YEAR!

signed by no one, and in my own handwriting.

Later that semester in english class we were being assigned copies of "the great gatsby" to take home and read( a book i am not too thrilled by) and when i opened my book to copy the number onto the teachers list, there was another note written into the cover and it said

david-

this book is not so great. it should just be called "gatsby"

again, unsigned and in my own handwriting. also it was impossible for anyone to know which random book i would get unless they had come from the future.

and my handwriting is not to generic:

if that wasnt me from the future, i dont know what will be!
