The Evolution of the Door Mat

The door mat has been around for years, it started out being used as a pure piece of machinery, simple though it be. It would be used to keep fresh cleaned floors from getting dirty when people actually worked in dirty jobs more often such as farmers. over the decades hte door mat has been revamped and remoulded to take on different shapes to stay alive and useful. The doormat has also gone so far as to take on the form of a hedghog to try and extend its existence. It has endured demening says such as "beware of the cat" to "bugger off". THe door mat has remained the strong entrance into a persons home, and after its many years of being changed and evolving, it will naturally always go back to its simple square, as this is the best survival technique as people change and get bored of hedgehogs, but a square mat is always needed. and so that makes the door mat hte most adjusted of species changing with times, adapting to different colours and materials and never dying out.
