Player Portrait by River Rock
June 12th, 2010 7:32 PMAfter I uploaded the file, I modified the color, which for some reason looked blue even though the paper is white. I decided it would be better in sepia with higher contrast.
Original drawing and implement.
The pencil is a Papermate with a .5 mm lead.
Submitted version of portrait.
In retrospect, I wish I had made the helmet more massive. Nevertheless, I don't think it's too bad considering that this was my first time drawing a person in a helmet. I hope Dth 2 Goby likes it.

Thanks. I hardly ever draw any more, so I wasn't sure I could pull it off. I'm glad the task inspired me to give it a shot.
BTW, I have a picture I wanted to add to the collection that your portrait and Spidere's seem to represent. It's not a proper portrait, but it does include a piece of a player.
...is that the task inspired you to do something you hadn't done in awhile. Neat!
As for the picture you want to add, I'd love love to see it. It cracks me up that Spidere and I have pics that are so similar.. :)
