Contents of a Character's Wallet by Flint Park

July 14th, 2006 12:36 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: In Jack Finney's short story, "Contents of a Dead Man's Pocket", the character - clinging to the side of a building - imagines what the world will think of him if they only have the contents of his pockets to consider.

Empty your pockets, your wallet, your purse out onto a table- tally the contents and tell us what the world would think of you, if they had only those effects to consider. Then, decide upon one thing to add to the contents of your pockets, your wallet, or your purse, which will better enunciate the truth of your person to the world.

In my pockets I had the following
A wallet
A small booklet I keep phone numbers in
A small chain with keys on in
A bank receit
A Arby's receit
A Mcdonald's receit
A school ID card
A official and temporary Target ID card
A Inn n out Location guide
A school ID
A california ID
A rasputin discount card
A Keiser card
A borders gift card
Two prepaid 20 minute phone cards
Three one dollar bills
A ten dollar bill
Three quarters
Three dimes
Two nickles
Fourteen pennies
A condom
And A pen

So in conclusion I think people would think that I eat alot of fast food. I dont have a whole lot of money. And I dont have a mass amount of friends just enough.

But in all honesty I dont think you can judge someone by the contents of their wallet.
