Work is So Strange by Donna de Fuera

INSTRUCTIONS: Describe in some detail the strangest thing that happened to you at work in the past week. If you don't work, describe the strangest thing that happened to you during a leisure activity.

My job is to save the world.



By day, this is currently as a teaching aide at a school for kids with special needs.

Recently, I started working with a new student, who has become fascinated with my tongue ring. We've gotten into the pattern where he'll stick his tongue out at me to tell me he wants to see it, and I'll stick my tongue out in return to show it to him.

Yesterday, he couldn't get enough of it, and I finally had to put an end to the game. He's been working on making requests, so he did great by asking, "I want tongue please."

To which I responded, "First work, then tongue."

Thanks for the vote. ^.^ Once again, I posted only for my own amusement. Life is hopefully calming down, and there will be much more exciting (and better told) tasking in my future.
