This task began a while ago...several months, back in the early of this year's spring. I asked a close friend to accompany me on a long journey and, after some weeks of convincing, she acquiesced to my request. So we left on our journey and I relinquished my photograph-capturing-device to this dynamic center of creative capability who then proceeded to photodocument our travels and, in the process, captured this oh-so-fine image of yours truly.
Those of you who are familiar with other photographs of myself are in-the-know and those in-the-know, know without a doubt, that I am not a photogenic creature. So be impressed.

the forest beau departs the scene of his origin
Near the Eastmost entrance to yellowstone, I was photographed by the most lovely of people...the spectacularity of this photograph is not in any way a reflection of the subject or the background, rather it is a direct reflection of the creative capacity of the photographer.
after all, the task reads "take a picture of yourself"
and...I didn't take this picture.
