I played a show in the Center Camp Cafe at Burning Man this year. This is notable because I think it was the first show I've done since I joined sf0. It was also my first solo show out of Minnesota, and also the one where the most sf0 players were in attendance.

At the end, when I'd run through my set and still had some time, I started makin' some stuff up. And a nice young man from Portland came up and asked if he could join me and maybe play a solo. I asked what he played, and he seemed to supply a trumpet from out of thin air as a reply. And I said what the hell, I was already wingin' it- so he jumped up on stage with me and we improved together for a bit. And after some initial blundering around a bit, the result was pretty damn cool.
