Lets Australian-ise this Maori tradition.
Canoe of my life: Science fiction - It takes me to place I'll never be able to travel. It's kept me interested in science and reading throughout my life and introduces me to quotes and concepts I love.
Tribe: I grew up with the tribe of affectionately named Bogans from Logan. We in my town of Juers Street were from one of three races - Aboriginial, Islander or Caucasian. We all had bikes, cursed the buses, and haunted the Blue store on the corner, Joe's Cut price and Scrubby Creek with it's collection of shopping trollies.
Sub Tribe: Farscape Australian Mafia, otherwise known as FAM- I lived it for many years and I still keep in touch with members of BFAM.
Sub Tribe: Beyond_Insane, I've posted on it, met people posted on it and have spent one too many hours soaking away my life on that.
Family: Materna's a proud name and no more so than those who fought the struggles of the poverty line and shitty condition. On the other hand, the Robinson's stuck together no matter the physical distance and monetary gap between members.

My Creek - Scrubby Creek - Home of the abandoned shopping trolley, the hyped up, flying high dropout and the only bike tracks worth a mention as a kid. (As I live a distance away from my spiritual home, some of my pics are from online sources)

My High school
My hand is on this wall on the left side bottom section
I was there the year we voted from SHS to College, I was there the year we went from no uniform to a formal uniform and I was there during the last years of one of the best teachers you could ever meet - Mr Curtin
My swimming pool - used to run down the grass slope and dive into the pool, that was if you didn't slip and fall in...Also the loo's were co-ed in my years.

Good job, and a nice list... Love that your creek is so unassuming ;-)
