Footprints on Windshields by JC Stade, Goddess of Doom and Thievery

October 21st, 2009 4:19 PM / Location: 61.582878,-149.4229

INSTRUCTIONS: Leave a trackway that documents your locomotion on unlikely surfaces; the more permanent, the better.

(This task is dedicated to goddessofdoom).

Well since this was a task for me, i just had to do it. And since Justin never gets invited to task, I thought i'd bring him along.

The first stop was the oh so important Wonderland Park. This park was mentioned in the praxis that started it all. It was the place where the original footprints were made.

We made footprints on the tables. And then we left some on the slide. Seemed like odd enough places to leave footprints.

Next we went to the other park, where the pedestrian underpass was. And left footprints on the wall as people don't generally walk up walls. Unless they're ninjas.

The last place was a roof. Roofs don't generally have footprints.

I did try to attain pictures of the original footprints from my ex's windshield. However, I didn't manage to get ahold of him when i had a camera, however when i did ask sometime in august, he said they were still there. Who knows if he got rid of them yet. But considering they were made in February, i'd say six months is pretty good for something in a temporary medium.

Nice color combination on the roof.
Were those ex-boyfriend windshield ones also made on acrylic paint?
I would have loved to see you guys wall-walking, though

Nope. They were made by just pressing my feet to the glass and the glass was foggy.
