I decided to write a letter to the fountain in Todos Santos Plaza, my city's version of a town square. I wrote it on special paper with a special pen.
My letter reads:
Dear Todos Santos fountain,
One day, my life changed. This was the day that I told a boy that I liked him. Charlie. I pulled him aside from a group of friends and said:
"So... I hear you know I like you."
After a short and terrifying conversation he said:
"Por favor no entrar en la fuente."
"I don't know what that means."
"It means 'Please do not enter the fountain.'"
2 months later, you witnessed our first kiss.
3 1/2 years later, we are still involved.
Like a steady friend, you've been a constant in our relationship. Soothing, watching, attaching yourself to our memories together.
One day my life changed, and you were there. That means something, doesn't it?

After placing the letter, my two comrades (Tea and Lauren) and I went to the nearby Baskin Robbins to visit Jason (all of these people are sf0 participants!) Unfortunately he was not there.
HOWEVER, on our way back to Tea's car we saw three people (none of whom saw me complete my task) reading my letter! One of them let out what I would describe as a "guffaw."

My favorite part of this task: the human connection.
