Contents of a Character's Wallet by star5

June 2nd, 2006 10:50 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: In Jack Finney's short story, "Contents of a Dead Man's Pocket", the character - clinging to the side of a building - imagines what the world will think of him if they only have the contents of his pockets to consider.

Empty your pockets, your wallet, your purse out onto a table- tally the contents and tell us what the world would think of you, if they had only those effects to consider. Then, decide upon one thing to add to the contents of your pockets, your wallet, or your purse, which will better enunciate the truth of your person to the world.

Contents of the purse of star5:

What do all these items say about star5?
She's prepared (to take notes, to take photos, to call people, to pretty herself up, to fight bad breath, to promote sf0, to go out to a variety of places.. including the bay area).
She's fun and silly and maybe a bit sentimental (superball, ring, handcuff key, old skeleton key, horoscopes & fortunes).
She's a bit of a packrat and maybe sometimes forgets to throw things away or clean out her purse.
She likes to travel.. at least to the bay area.
She spends an insane amount of money on balloons.
She cares about her appearance to some degree (lipstick).
She likes food.
She exercises, or at least has a membership at a gym.

If I could add one thing to my purse to better describe myself to the world.. hard to say..
colored pencils or pens? my ipod? an all-in-one type tool?
Have to go with ipod. Music is probably the area that's most lacking in what you see of me here.

The party was MOB, and I missed it to go to the Mad Hatter party. I heard it was great though! The picture you linked to, that's like Evan's first flame effecty thing!

I can't believe just how many people ended up at the Mad Hatter party.
