I've started with a literally pedestrian photo: the view of our front yard as seen if you would stroll down the sidewalk in my neighborhood. From that starting point, I have destroyed all signs of civilization after the industrial revolution.

This is our vision of a reclaimed environment. No power lines, street signs, cars, or modern structures have been spared. Only a simple wooden fence in the outskirts of an ancient forest.

What of those floating lights in the distance? Is it possible that they are visiting spirits from a bygone era? Fairy lights descending from low-hanging boughs? Ball lightning? Will-o'-the-wisp? I leave this interpretation up to you.
