My statue of liberty, as it stands there out in the ocean reminds me that I am still in America and that I am still free.
It reminds me where my family came from and where my family stays.
It reminds me that America is the greatest country in the world in the aspects of freedom of speech, religion, and so many other freedoms, that there is no country that can match the awesomeness of our freedoms.
When I see it , I do wonder, why people come here and complain about America.
I mean, if I was in France, and I didn't like France and hated France and hated what it stood for, I would leave France and go somewhere else.
And if I could not go somewhere else, I would stay in France but keep my insults to myself, while I enjoyed whatever France gave to me or had available to me.
(I am not against France, I use that as an example only).
Liberty statue reminds me that I am here and I am free and if I want to remain the freest, this is the land to be in.
I feel the statue should be painted blue or red, since green is such an institutional color, or at least if it must be green then it should have trees and leaves painted all over the outside surface so that it would symbolize our vast forests and free natural lands that we have here in America.
The Statue of Liberty reminds me that as I set my goals, and as I work towards my goals each and every day, that I can indeed, yes I can become very successful in whatever line of work that I wish to be successful in.
The Statue reminds me , simply, of America the Beautiful.
God Bless America!
land of the free and home of the brave.
What's up with the silly red x there? Having no clue .
I say this is AWESOME!!! Liberty! so there you go
