Dear Sir,

While I admire your productivity, I believe you're missing the point. As in, the points are not the point. The point is the elegance/hilarity/cleverness/interestingness/completeness of your completion. We're kind of big on documentation and style. I find this particular completion, lacking- incomplete if you will. Now, the super exciting thing about this site is that folks are encouraging and forgiving. You didn't know! So, now you get the excitement of being able to more thoroughly complete this task. Perhaps you should demonstrate that you actually *can* run through that screen door. Or, should you be unable, or unwilling to destroy a door of your own or someone else's- find something else to run through, and document it however you see more fitting.

I hope you do not take offense at this comment- it is meant to encourage you to rise to the heights of cleverness I suspect you are capable.

Love,
Inky

No no at all. Actually, I'm glad you posted such a clear comment. I'm spec-ing out sf0 for a class project. What I appreciate most is the crowd sourcing - yours is the second gentle nudge to do more and more elegantly. Like Wikipedia you all are the keepers of the integrity of the game. Thanks for your understanding. I remember once I posted a benign question at Apple's discussion board and they sent me to computer Siberia. Live and learn. Thanks again, it's been a pleasure. I'm looking forward to participating more fully down the road. -Super

Dear Patrick,

I've been on sf0 since 2006. I don't task nearly enough anymore, but I troll the rss feed and try to give new folks a gentle nudge, and good tasks a high five. It's an unofficial mantle I've assumed.

Love,
Inky

Another point to note is that most of the points you get for tasking come in the way of votes, and while this completion is not getting flagged out, it's also not getting any votes.

I also highly recommend shooting to get the high score for a task by inspiring people to vote for you. Part of that involves networking and making friends (both excellent side effects of participating) and part of that involves doing something damn cool.

You may notice I have no high score tasks, but one day. One day...

This proof has been flagged by 6 of your fellow players (for the benefit of all, flags are anonymous). As such, it has been automatically disapproved. Most likely, they've posted comments explaining why they're displeased. If you think you may be the victim of a bug, injustice, or a gang of Rubins, hit up the contact page.

If you think you can fix this proof, click 'edit this completed task', then 'Un-Submit Proof' (at the bottom of the editing page). Make your changes, hit Submit again, and the flags on this proof will be cleared.
