The Museum of Statistical Anomalies by Queen of Diamonds
January 10th, 2010 4:22 PM
In a very wealthy neighborhood, I am walking along, and look down a spacious alley...

Something on the wall on the right catches my attention. It's some kind of spray-painted graffiti! "In this kind of neighborhood?" I ask myself. So I walked into the alley between two unknown houses (huge, beautiful houses), for a closer look. This was spray-painted on the side of one of the houses.

It looks like a purple mushroom, with three spots. I have to wonder what inspired this work of street art in such a well-kept neighborhood. I may be in the middle of Houston, but in an affluent neighborhood like the one here, graffiti is a statistical anomaly.

I laugh to myself at the absurdity of it, take some pictures (while trying to not look suspicious), and walk back out again.
