One Cent by TechnicallyNina Tasks Sometimes

I started this task by gathering the necessary supplies:

I choose to mail my friend and fellow Sf0er TED (http://sf0.org/shrO) the penny. I send TED a lot of post, but mainly in the form of postcards. This time I wanted to trick him into thinking that I had sent him something awesome, when really it was just a penny taped to a card shipped in a rather large box.
I couldn't just send any old card to TED, I wanted to find a card that would make him feel special and loved, and make the penny feel special and loved, too. So I chose a Valentine's Day card that I had received from my grandmother 2 months ago.

An excerpt from the note I wrote TED inside:
Dear TED,
I hope you enjoy this penny. It has had a long & arduous journey. I sent it on this card my grandma sent me because I thought the LOVE would keep it company.
[some info about my handwriting because he told me that writing with my left hand will make me smarter. I've gotten better]
<3 Nina

Then I had to choose which of my many pennies to send him. I got all the pennies out of my change jar, but I couldn't choose one without the aid of my magic wand. I held the wand in my hand, closed my eyes, and let the wand fall onto the penny it would choose. It was a nice shiny penny. Good job wand!
Once the penny was chosen I taped it inside the card and placed the card in the box.

I taped the box up and it was off to the post office for me!
I'll be sure and update the praxis when/if he gets the penny and sends me photos.

I like that the penny had LOVE to keep it company.
I think you should have weighted it down, to heighten the trick.
