This one's for you, Mr. X...
Chorus{
Oliver, oh Oliver, Oliver, Oliver!
I'm begging of you, please don't lose first place
Oliver, oh Oliver, Oliver, Oliver!
One day, I shall meet you face to face...}
My love for you is an eternal flame
A paralyzing shock of pain
But I'm trying to cope with it, Oliver
My only hope to erase this frown
Is to build you up and then break you down.
But its hard to beat your score, Oliver.
Your wit and charm has entranced us all,
but your reign as king, it will surely fall.
When I see you, you'll know its me, Oliver.

If you had asked me a few months ago if I would ever sing for anyone, or even in public, I would have said, "No way. Never." I have a terrible singing voice and don't wish to subject anyone to that kind of misery and pain. Thanks to this task, I found it kind of fun... in that creepy sort of way =]

I don't think you have a terrible singing voice at all. It's just the content...yes, definitely creepy. And amusing.

Well, thank you. But I am really self conscious about it. Maybe why I chose to play instruments rather than sing.
Brilliant! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't heard it with my own ears.
