Alphabet Soup Redux by El Justiciero

June 28th, 2007 5:44 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Inspired by Alphabet Soup.

Write a story in which the first word in every sentence starts with the next letter of the alphabet. You may start with any letter, you must use all of them.

Example: "Giggles died down in the small group around the campfire as our group leader began another story. Her choice this time was horror. I was not afraid..."

- At least leave me the house, said Helen.
- But I live here, I replyed, hoping that sense would come back again to her.
- Can't you go to...
- Disneyland? England? Finland? God, why you keep trying to make me leave?
Helen just looked coldly at me and ushered an almost unaudible phrase:
I would go myself if it wasn't for my psicology studies.
Jokingly, almost non chalantly, I said:
Kant can't exist without you it seems. Lashing furyously towards me Helen
started to throw many items of our ancient home at my direction.
- "Madness is rare in individuals - but in groups, parties, nations, and ages it is the rule", I yelled running.
- Nietzsche will not come to your soccour, screamed my former wife.
On that subject of wives, marriages and alike I would like to speak, but at a latter time, not now. Plato must not had to suffer this I thought, still running at the end of the house and my witts, think, man, who could you quote that would take you out of this situation.
- Quote Skinner, man, said my brain.
- Run, don't stop runnig, my brain added.
-"Society attacks early, when the individual is helpless".
To my utter surprise Helen stoped like a statue . Unwillingly I looked back, she was wipping now. Voltaire would break the spell and pull her together again and ready to another attack. What if it's just a coincidence, maybe it wasn't Skinner quoted that made her stop. Xerxes died of a coincidence, I always say that.
- You never talk to me, you never say anything, typical man!
- Zaratrusta, why don't you speak to me, asked a heart broken Helen.
