I choose ninepins. It is a variation of billiards, in which the nineball setup is racked, and each player gets to fire 5 breaks, alternating each time. The rules are simply, the total number of balls sunk in all five breaks is your score. Highest score wins. If you knock in the nine-ball in any break, you win. If you knock in any four balls in the same break, you win. It's pretty fun.

Kinda like bowling, but with billiards. Appropriation! I'm all for it. :)

Do you have any pictures or video of you or anyone else playing this? Or stories of how it was first played?

uhhh...

I'm not that good at getting pictures and putting them on computers, and I'm usually using a public computer for this, but I can tell you the first instance of the game. One time I had invited a friend over to play 9-ball. When he came over we decided I would break first. By pure dumb luck I sunk the nine ball, making me very upset that we didn't have a video camera overhead that recorded every shot. I became very excited, we agreed that that game didn't count, and continued playing. I found this task about a year later, and now it's a game.
