More and more public spaces in Munich are getting equiped with cameras "for our own safety".
With this and other laws that allow the state more and more to spy on your personal life via internet and phones, we're on a path that can easily lead to total surveillance of activities and opinions of the citizens by the state as we once had in East-Germany.
In the DDR, they had free and secret ballot, too, but a "really patriotic" DDR citizen would vote publicly. So those who wouldn't do that made themselves supect of being an enemy of the people...
I wanted to catch this psychological trick that gets you to vote the way the state wants you to without an immediate threat of violence or punishment.
And since video surveillance is a big issue not only in Munich but throughout Europe at present, I designed this short notice that I placed in the voting booth for the elections of the European Parliament:

The header says: elections administrator of the Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
The text says: For your own safety and the warranty of a unconfined free ballot this voting booth for the Europawahl 2009 is under CCTV surveillance according to § 17 clause 2 European electoral law (EuWG).
This is the notice in the voting booth:

Sorry for the poor picture quality. I only had my mobile phone to take pics. You'll find the document as an attachment further down this page.
And my printer was broken, so only could print in black and white...
