Donate a Pint of Blood by Kristin Van Cuyck

INSTRUCTIONS: Donate a pint of whole blood. Preferably at a blood bank or the Red Cross. Extra points if you donate platelets (apheresis donation).

I donated at the Burbank airport drive since my work is across the street. By doing this great act I also won two round trip tickets on anywhere JetBlue flys.

Whoa...two airline tickets for donating a pint of blood? That's amazing. I usually just get a squeezeball or something.

Also, blood at the airport? Pictures of this bizarre drive?
