Trespassing the Future by PDØ Clementine
January 27th, 2011 9:05 PM
I decided that i wanted to do something a little different with this task, and I actually got the idea when I read the instructions and it said "a place under development." This made me think of how people are developing all the time. With this in mind, I decided to sit down and have a conversation with my little brother, pick his brain, so to speak.
I figure that, being 14, his brain is still developing at a rapid pace. In ten years, he is going to be a completely different person than he is today. I wanted to see the Galen that won't exist anymore when he is 24.
This was basically our conversation:
Me: "Hey kid, wanna sit and talk with me for a minute?"
Him: No.
M: Please I really need you to help me with something.
H: What is it? I'm kind of afraid now...
M: Don't worry about it, just come here. I swear it won't hurt.
H: Aw, but I was gonna watch look up a song and then watch a movie with dad...
M: This will only take like five minutes...
(Finally got him to agree to help me...)
These are direct quotes.
Q: How do you feel about the current government?
A: It sucks
Q: What's your favorite movie?
A: The How it Should Have Ended videos on youtube are super great. They make fun of Braveheart and make William Wallace rip off his skin and be a robot and shoot balls of fire from his eyes and bolts of lightning from his ass ("Don't say that word!"-Me)
Q: Some of your favorite music?
A: Mostly Techno, like Raver's Paradise. Infected Mushroom. Daft Punk.
Q: Favorite Superhero?
A: Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Little Tortilla Boy
Q: And what do you have to say to all of your fans out there on SF0?
A: This is a stupid, idiotic game that is a waste of time. Why am I even helping you with this?

He was. Now he has gotten sassy. I guess you know who he learned that from, though. ;)

Well done. I will admit though that by choosing to "trespass" into someone's mind, you have raised all sorts of metaphysical questions which will need answering. I hope you are up to this task as well.

Your little brother is a Pablo Francisco fan?
I like how you do tasks in ways other people haven't done yet. Also, your brother was much more well behaved when he was 8 (as i recall)
