Went to Montreal for a few days. This bathroom is at the the Pointe-à-Callière archaelogical museum. The lower levels of the museum are made up of intact archaelogical sites on top of which the museum was built. Many layers of foundations remain where buildings were demolished and new ones built in their stead; they date back to the 1600s. I was struck by the idea that the stone walls in this bathroom might be hundreds of years old.
