Make A Task: The Task by Water Dragon

July 20th, 2006 2:34 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a task for the game San Francisco Zero. To add a task:

1) Go to your character page. You know, your home base (click your photo in the upper right once you're logged in).

2) Look in the second row of navigation up at the top. Click "add task".

3) You'll be taken to a form where you can name and describe your task, give it a location in SF (if it's location-based), assign it to one of the five groups (or "general"), and suggest a required score and the number of points the task awards.

4) You can add more than one task - they'll all be listed on your home page - but you can only get these 30 points once.

Once you add your task, you can complete this task. We'll make this automatic one of these days...

For this task I created the task:
Make and Pass Counterfit Money

I feel this task would be interesting to attempt. I also feel it has just the right flavor of "legally grey" for the sf0 crowed. I also liked the fact that it incorporates material art with performance art and challenges peoples ideas about what makes money valuable.

I also feel that it was important to force the task to be done without making the exchange with a machine since that negates the performance art aspect of the task to a large degree.

Excellent task! I have a Boggs note in my player photograph.

That gets a vote, and not just cause you're cute. :) Apparently this happens all the time in Argentina. I had a friend get counterfit money out of an ATM down there.

Props for plugging the "exchange with a machine" hole, too!
