And yes, I actually did dream about this task. :P
I especially enjoy the parts written in Irish, and the Irish slang.
Are you sure it says"ITS FUCKW CRAIG HEER"? I ask because "craic" is Irish slang for fun/good times and such. It would also make sense if it said "ITS FUCKW CRAIC HEER," and a C can easilly look like a G when written by a drunk person. At least, I think that makes sense.
Aww....you made me blush. :)
Thanks! I'm glad you both like it. I was really proud of this one, but I'm not very good at evaluating art and I tend to assume my work isn't as great as I think it is. So I'm glad this one is well-received.
Unfortunately it's hard to see some of the silicon pieces clearly in the photographs. They're all different in some pretty cool ways, but alas, but camera skills are not sufficient to the task of capturing them.
Please use your imagination to add interesting color swirls, lines, and other doodads to the little silicon pieces. I'm sure whatever you come up with will be just as cool as the original. :)
I count in Columbus, Ohio, home of THE Ohio State Univerity with its 50,000 students.
I should probably confess my hypocrasy while I'm here: I was listening to my ipod while doing the counting! Oh the irony...
The kids on bikes listening to headphones completely freaked me out. This campus is an especially dangerous place to be a bicyclist, because they are beset on all sides by both cars and pedestrians. I literally had a pedestrian walk into ME once while I was riding my bike around here. I would be terrified to ride my bike with headphones on, even on the sidewalks, and it was scary seeing other people do it.
Well shoot, apparently I should've checked for comments! Silly me...
Regarding the story's truthfulness: The story is real, but its historical accuracy is impossible for me to verify.
Regarding my return: I'm not a huge fan of the new point system. I don't have enough time to do tasks frequently, so I'd prefer to see my points rise slowly and steadily. Instead, the new system resets my points just when I'm starting to make progress in the ranks. So I think that's what spurred my hiatus from sf0. It's also a little harder for me, since I don't know of anyone else in my city who does it (let me know if you run into another sf0 Columbus-ite!). As for my return....I dunno, I just felt like it? I've looked over the new tasks several few months or so since the switch, but only recently has any of them caught my interest. I also think that seeing my senior and my old TwinCities friends may have sparked my creativity.
