Perform A _____ Deed by whatis 42
September 17th, 2006 3:30 PM
An old friend of mine from high school called me the other day asking for a ride to the used game store so he could sell his PlayStation 2 and games. He's selling them because the company he works for went under so he has no job. I decided this was the perfect opportunity for me to perform a good deed.
He had to give me directions to his new crash-pad because last week his girlfriend dumped him and kicked him out of the house. At midnight. So he moved back in with his mom.
I knew where his parents' old house was, but his parents are going through a nasty divorce and he's sleeping on the couch at his mom's apartment (the one she kept during the last year of the marriage, for cheating purposes).
To summarize: dumped, jobless, houseless SWM seeks ride to game store for business purposes and to avoid getting caught between his divorcing parents.
42 to the rescue!

Yikes, sounded like he really was in need of a good deed. And it sounds like he could still use a few more!
