Two words: True Love
Yes, maybe that makes me an idealist. Yes, maybe that's unattainable, and yes, I am aware of the irony of a Buddhist wanting to be so attatched to one person, but hey, you asked. Even if I have to suffer in every other aspect of my life: if I have to be dirt poor and live in a shack and die at the age of 35 of excuciatingly painful gangrene from a cut on my arm that I got rooting around in a dumpster for the above reason, true love is really the only thing I ask of this life. If I have a true love, I believe I can be truly happy regardless of the circumstances.
