INSTRUCTIONS: Show someone a better way to solve a mundane problem they are facing.

What problem do you face my friend?
What sadness, pain and grief you face,
The fate of humans so it's told,
is consent sorrow with hope of grace,
I am not human i am numeric
thus to you I'll be a cleric
And solve your problems with se7ens sweet.

My life is simple, subtle and sweet
It might be perfect by your measure
I'm prime and real and lucky too
I am part of mankind's greatest treasure
But often I am forced to feel
I am part of problems so surreal
Which humans can nether defeat nor delete

What I will show you if allowed
Is how, for a moment, to release
the horror and complexity, fear and rage
Which stops you from finding inner peace
Though first understand my most potent desire
To love and feel, passion and fire
My calm and your rage are prisons

What a number would do given X
If X = anger and number, vexed
Would be to calmly make a list
and assign how and were to check
the solution is perfection and naturally infallible
on simple paper it would be invaluable
in Plato's mind you will have risen

But alas in practice I am useless
other then objectifying what is truly subject
I'm just a symbol of real things
regardless of the nature it does reflect
so what am i to say to you
how to deal with problems true
I, by nature, can not be good

So rather then calculating what to do
using numbers who generally can not care
they can not understand and reflect you
So let yourself go feel with flair
Run under moonlight, let your hair flow
as the night cools you, let go
let feelings run though you, they should

But strangely enough i happen to feel
Though it's not the least my forte
I possess a muse for strangely whom
feelings pull me like moon and waves
as for my muse whom i adore
is amongst you with potential to soar
in no normal trajectory will he go

The other day I mused about metric feet.

Huh, I thought feet were an English unit.
