Impress Me! by Whimsical Disarray, miss understanding

INSTRUCTIONS: Create your own coat of arms. Wear or display it publicly.

Mitten and I decided that since we're actually related, to create a family coat of arms for our crazy family. We took a few base images, like a snazzy blank coat of arms, and then various other images we found online and edited them to suit our needs. We ended up with a fist, a broken wine bottle, a switchblade knife, a shotgun and a high heel in the crest itself, and then, like a crown, a set of brass knuckles. At the bottom, we have the words "Fuck Destiny" written out as if it were letters cut from a magazine. We decided that the added oddity of the words would fit in with the overall theme of the crest itself, as well as being sort of inspirational, since she and I are part of the small percentage in our family who have actually not completely screwed up our lives.
We thought of adding the lines "The Family Business" somewhere in there, since each item represents something that someone has done in our family at least once or twice that we know of.

The Fist: to top the list, we have a closed fist. This represents the fighting spirit that has found many of our family members in a holding cell at least once or twice.
The Broken Wine Bottle: A multipurpose item, not only is the wine bottle good for drinking from, but when you're done, you can use it as a weapon!
The Switchblade Knife: Got a score to settle? Go out and slash some tires!
The Shotgun: If I had a dollar for every time I heard my uncle tell us he was going to shoot our next door neighbor just because, I'd be rich.
The Hooker Heel: Self Explanatory.
The Brass Knucks: When the bottle just won't cut it, and you've already caught a charge for carrying a gun without a permit, you can still show how classy you are with a pair of brass knucks tucked into your pocket!

All-in-all we're very happy with how they all turned out, and we both think that they're great shirts.

Here's Mitten, munching on some Reese's cups out at the store wearing our new Family Coat of Arms shirts!

Getting ready to head back to the house, Aearrineth posing for a quick snapshot wearing the family crest out at the store. (The shirt is absolutely huge, by the way, I didn't realize when I picked it up that it would be that big...I'm going to have to do something with it...).

Here's the actual graphic that we used for the t-shirts. So you can get a better look at what we decided to go with for our Family Crest.

Kickass!

Great image, and I love the detailed explanation. Extra cool points for taking it out into the streets.

Really nice.

scared? of us? haha, possibly! Aside from our razor sharp wit, I think we're pretty harmless. :)
