Ransom by S 4

June 23rd, 2006 9:00 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Once in awhile a friend leaves something behind in a public place. Go ahead and pick it up for them but hold it for ransom. Take picture of it with a ransom note, complete with demands. Email or mail the note to them. Bonus points if they pay up.

I had StarFive's kite. It looks just like my kite. But it didn't really belong at my place.

So i held it for ransom.

I have your kite. Don't worry it's safe. For now.

If you'd ever like to fly it again though, you're going to have to get me something. Something special.

It's not going to be easy, buy you have to bring me the Troll Doll. It's deep inside Olivers house somewhere, and I don't know what you'll have to do to get it for me. But I do know what is going to happen to your kite if you do not.

She came through a couple of hours before midnight, and we did our item exchange in the alley behind Star5's building. And luckily I didn't get ambushed.

Everything I recently learned about kidnapping this year came from the shows Alias and 24, and what I've learned is this: If you're going to hold someone or something hostage, the person who wants it back is instantly "compromised". A compromised person can be made to do many things. Compromising someone also makes for better entertainment. And is way more evil.

You may have seen this troll before. As it appeared out of place in Oliver X's What Who Haiku
