This task really should not be performed. Having lived there, it is a pretty dangerous spot at that time of day.
While it's true that usually people wait until task completion to submit, I have enjoyed the suspense. How were you going to use the boot? Were you going to stuff things in the boot tops as you wore them? Wouldn't that be bulky and make it difficult to walk? And... how would you coordinate your outfits? Now, you say a blender has been used?!? Would this make wardrobe coordination more or less difficult?

Also, I like what you've written about good versus bad horror and requiring the viewer to interpret what happens, thereby implicating the viewer in the violence. It reminds me of something I read about why comics are so engaging, they require the viewer to fill in the blanks between the frames. In the example in the book, requiring the viewer to bring the axe down on the victim, killing the victim.
