You're right, but the tape seem to have done a good job so far. I'll probably use cellophane to cover it next time.
I took a brief walk around my neighborhood on a sunny afternoon using the green glasses. It was great at first, basically like wearing normal sunglasses with a funky green touch, but I realized that, after a while, it became somewhat nauseating, an unwelcome side effect of seeing everything green.
I think green vision is only meant to be used moderately.
