Fortress of Solitude by Amoeba Man

I wasn't really addicted to anything in the typical sense (not anything harmful, anyways), and I wasn't really in the mood to get myself hooked on anything, so I initially wrote this task off as being nothing I'd be able to do without some effort. I quietly filed it away in the "Less Interesting" section and moved on.
It wasn't until I uploaded the Praxis for my Natural-->Artificial task that I realized I was addicted to something in a very bad way.
Score.
I'm addicted to Score.
I looked back over my Praxii and realized that I had been doing the easiest possible tasks with the least possible creativity. This is mostly manifested, I find, in my CHEAT! Praxis, where instead of doing something elaborate and creative like, say, cheating on my girlfriend, or joining a major league baseball team and cheating on live TV, I simply popped "Please God" and "Please Fly" into the command line of my Serious Sam game.
I'm sure the response from most people to that Praxis was "Whoop-dee-flipping-doo, Amoeba Man, you can type". No one said that, but still.
Where I really got the kick in the nuts was when I realized I had actually opened up a new tab dedicated entirely to my "Updates" page and was refreshing it every few minutes to check and see if anyone had voted on my Praxii. After the first eight, nine... fifteen refreshes, I realized "Holy Carp! I'm a Score junkie!". You can even tell how much of a Score junkie I am because I used my addiction to Score to get more Score. Even now, I'm completing a task with relatively little effort.
So, great. I've gotten myself addicted to Score. YEAAAAH!
But no longer. I'm going to kick my addiction.
From now on, I'm going to make sure that every time I send in a Praxis, it's going to be as creative as I can make it and is going to require both effort and dedication on my part. I'm going to start living the SF0 dream.
I'm going to start with my Firefighter For Life Praxis. It's not going to be done for a little while (since I actually have a job), but rest assured, when it comes, it will ROCK YOUR FACE.
