Kamikaze by Elizabeth Park

INSTRUCTIONS: Create a wind-powered device (such as a pinwheel or a kite) and put it in a windy public place.

So I started by tracing a pinwheel design off the internet

Then I designed the front with a swirly rainbow pattern

and the back with Love in a bunch of different languages

The final product

I took the pinwheel to a public school and placed it in front of the welcome sign. There were lots of cars going by and people were staring, but after a while I stopped caring

It was very pretty there, but, unfortunately, it didn't spin very well. So I moved it to a side gate

It did spin there, although not as well as I had hoped. I tried to capture it spinning on camera but apparently a watched pinwheel never spins.
