Confuse an animal by Poisøn Lake, Juxtapolemic, Murdoc

as a subject i chose my rabbity friend Nic. First, i introduced two stuffed rabbits to him; result - he attempts sniffing, chewing, & headbutting to divine their nature, "are they rabbits, toys, or food?" Nic seems to ask. He seems to prefer headbutting the smaller of the two stuffed rabbits & after a few sniffs is indifferent to Norman, the larger stuffed rabbit.
for the second confusion tactic, i placed Nic's treats for the day (consisting of oxbow hay & slightly wilted lettuce, with a secret nut/seed treat somewhere near the center) in a paper bag. Nic first sniffs the bag & then attempts chewing through it. abandoning this attempt for no apparent reason, he pushes it about his dwelling to no fruitful outcome. six minutes into this experiment, Nic successfully finds the open end of the bag; confusion alleviated, gorging commences.

the ideas were put together collaboratively, J. just thought she'd post them herself while I was busy working on a paper.
I worry as i write this that i may be falling into a very big trap (I wonder do i count as an animal?) but.. you have confused me as to how you three collaborated on this task?
