INSTRUCTIONS: Pick a local public object that you enjoy and leave a note on it describing your feelings in great detail.

So, what public objects do I enjoy? This seems to me to imply statuary, fountains, etc. There's the sundial over by the planetarium. There's the confederate soldier in McCorkle Place. There's all the various sculptures in Carrboro that resemble vaginas to varying to degrees. I wouldn't necessarily say I'm especially fond of those, though.

I decided instead to go with my local bar, Fuse. Fuse and I have an interesting and amusing history. I decided that I'm as attached to Fuse as I am to practically any other public object around my town-- at least, in the "I've seen you in your lowest moments, I still love you, and I'll always stand by you" kind of way.

So here's my note, or at least the bottom half of it:
