I notice that, in fact, most of these pictures are older.
In the world of self vs. character, this image is vital.
I enjoy taking pictures of myself where I look nothing like myself. Then again, that collection of post-its glued to my dresser behind me in this picture looks as much like me as anything.

Me in old dorm room
I call this picture, "Hello, little robot!" And yeah, it's been over a year since I lived in that dorm room, but oh well. I still like my all important pink post-it notes all over the wall.
