Glove Slap by GYØ Neil, Tøm, GYØ Ben, Adam

October 22nd, 2007 12:22 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Challenge another player to a duel.

[please note, per the task's creator: there must be a duel - document, no less]

Both completions are in!

Head over to the Forbes camp, and cast your vote.

Then glance at the Smith camp.

It's about time for a GY0 Duel, and a senator to represent the east coat (of Britain), so why not kill two birds with one stone?

We're dueling over Campaign Trail, and we're in three teams of two.

Team Forbes
Ben Forbes (Candidate)
Tom Gibbard (Campaign Manager)

Team Smith
Adam Smith (Candidate)
Neil Whitehead (Campaign Manager)

Team 3 dropped out.

The task will run from Monday 22nd October 2007 till the Saturday of the following week, when both Campaign Trails will be submitted. Additional content may be added after this date, but something must be submitted then. The winner is the first to 25 votes!

Let there be mudslinging, visiting of landmarks, policies, government, and Duelage!

Just to start off the mudslinging...

The Daily Express

The Daily Express

The Sun

The Sun

As a "left wing" tabloid The Sun has sided with Adam Smith in the race for Senate and uncovered this harrowing image of Forbes at a fancy dress party dressed as a nazi. It follows on from their discovery of Prince Harry in the same situation.

The Guardian

The Guardian

Adam holds up theGuardian in Great Yarmouth, the headline states "Smith comes through on Climate Plan in election"

The Campaign!

The Campaign!

The vS Campaign begins and Adam was there to see it off as the first billboard goes up in Yarmouth.

Oh, this is gonna be coooooooool...

Only one of you is going to get my vote.

Unless any of you come to London for some tasking, then you automatically get my vote. And a place to stay, if you want.

You could each complete this task at the same time...

Just let out a bit more of our campaign trails here.

Also, RE: Smear campaign, me and Adam have already done it.

Stay tuned for another task submission tonight or tomorrow.

"Unless any of you come to London for some tasking, then you automatically get my vote. And a place to stay, if you want." - that's not fair! Adam's going to London ANYWAY.

Boo to you =[

:P

Brett claims he didn't have a clue, so I dropped out.

I wasn't going to do it by myself

Actually

They now go in on Saturday.

Adam's Laptop broke, and is being fixed.

Therefore Daryl remains in.

Ugh

The winner of the duel will be the first candidate to be elected into senate.

Seeing as we're not very(read any)where near 25 votes.

The winner will be the person with the most votes in 3 days (Saturday)

Very difficult choice

I think in the end, I had to go with proven effectiveness at bringing people into SF0 (Campaign Forbes)--but it was a lot harder decision than i had expected (hence my last-minute voting). We may never know how things would have gone, were there no flooding during the election. I especially enjoyed the Smith video (it reminds me of Colbert's "The Word"). My compliments to both sides.

And now, at 12:05 GMT, I can announce that Mr Forbes was the winner, however, he still didn't get into senate.

And now the duel is over, I can vote for both of them instead of having to deicde!

So maybe we will get a GY0 player into senate.

That would be awesome.
