Wear Your Art As Your Sleeve by Zoo Monster

Following the cues presented to me by the college/high school sweatshirt I never owned, I made this. The tools involved were:
Hoodless zip up sweatshirt, An assortment of colored felt, Iron-on letters, An iron, Scissors, A sewing machine, Thread, Pins.
I ironed the letters onto the felt and cut them out leaving enough room to make them easy to sew on. Then I pinned them to the sweatshirt and sewed them on. I cut the excess felt off of each letter and made sure they were legible (and would remain so after the letters fell off). Now all that is left is the enjoying.
I wore it this morning on my bike ride to work. It was actually too warm for a sweatshirt, but I looked cool, and truly, that is all that matters.

I have been wearing this sweatshirt nearly every day, especially while riding my bike. The comments have been interesting. . .mostly a lot of jokes about a university for asthmatics. . .but sometimes it leads to an attempt at an explanation of SF0 to friends/strangers/acquaintances. The responses are varied, as are my explanations. Usually it ends with me handing over a narwhal clad business card with SF0.org scrawled on the back. It's strange to feel like a walking advertisement. Maybe next I'll make myself an SF0 sandwich board to don while completing tasks. . .clumsily, of course.
