my bag:
keys, cell phone with bento box sticker, japanese notebook with deer on cover, 2 $1 bills, wallet (containing: student ID, ymca card, Washington Mutual debit card, Jewel Osco Preferred card, Illinois state drivers license, insurance card, CTA city card, Johnston/Kukla label for front door, 3 character business cards), japanese craft book, The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman, four pens, small zipper pouch (containing: tampon, 15 cents, Prince of Wales tea bag, green pouch containing digital camera, crochet hook, 3 (slightly used) earplugs in a small red bag that doesn't close, pink stuffed deer, 6 colors of felt, polyester stuffing, 3 spools of thread, 2 needles, piece of pink fabric, list of acquisitions of the week, CD of x-rays of my cat, coupon for free entree at Dharma Garden (thai restaurant), 2 pipe cleaners, stuffed owl, stuffed branch for stuffed owl to sit on, receipt from grocery store.
I divided the items into four groups for easy evaluation: smaller bags, paper products, crafts, miscellaneous. I think most people lack two of my sections, smaller bags and crafts. Based on the existence of these sections, I would say that the owner of the bag is into making/ houses for inanimate objects and then making the inanimate objects to inhabit the houses.
well, looking at this stuff I am forced to think what everyone thinks: this bag is owned by an elderly lady. . .wait, the tampon. . .this bag is owned by a semi-elderly lady, who likes Japan and has far too much free time on her hands. Those words are actually my brother's words, but I would agree. He suggests adding knitting needles, but only if they stick out of the bag. I however think I would like to add a bag for all the craft junk, or scissors, but the priority does lie with decreasing the frequency with which needles poke me. Removal might be better than addition.

Wow, tea and precisely three earplugs - the makings of a good evening.
