Ok, so technically this isn’t our usual neighborhood, but it was for the first weekend of October. We were performing at the Stronghold Olde English Faire, and as performers we got to sleep on site. As a couple of city kids, though Elenlin proclaims to be a country girl at heart, we couldn’t resist walking around the woods at night. Among things we learned, Elenlin has amazing nightvision, the night is full of magic (as stated by the little sister who went walking with us), the camera was able to pick up some amazing shots, moon and star light reflecting off the trees is awesome, cloaks are not only warm they give bonuses to save rolls vs. fear (yes, we are gamer geeks), and down state IL has some beautiful countryside.
