Hey You Haiku by Iaman

Alright, I live in Chicago, so it's snowing today. On top of that, it's the Christmas season, so commercialism and advertising abound, as every store and its dog are trying to sell lots of stuff and make lots of money so they can... I dunno, what do stores do with money? Roll around in it like Scrooge McDuck?
Anyway, back to the point. I was downtown (specifically on the corner of State and Randolph) to stop off at Borders and see if there was anything interesting I wanted that was in my price range. So anything decent at around five bucks. (turns out I didn't really find anything I wanted all that much, oh well) While exiting the store, I noticed some of the TJ Maxx people who were handing out pamphlets about stuff to buy at TJ Maxx for the holidays or something.

I knew right then and there that this would be my target. Hiding behind a convenient steel beam, I began writing my haiku.

Having written these powerful words, I immediately snuck my way back to the corner, applied the post-it note, and retreated into the entrance of Borders. I quickly snapped a shot of my handiwork:

I then spent another half an hour in the store, to look natural, and finally left, coming back here to document it all before the facts blurred.

I think it's cool that you carry around sticky notes with you. Always be prepared.
