Disobedient Nature by Zebadiah Norman

March 19th, 2008 6:16 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Search for, find, document an example of nature refusing to yield to or blending itself into a construction of modern man.

Document with photos when possible.

Examples should document situations where man has put up some restraint for nature and nature has disobeyed. While trees or other permanent plants are preferable, a basic example would be plants that grow in the cracks of the sidewalk.

Behold the man eating tree. This tree is the leader of a small tree based resistance starting in northern Michigan. After a construction worker had rested both his shovel and himself next to the tree he found himself inside the tree upon waking. The tree left the shovel partly showing in order to ward off other people trying to build around his home. The tree remains victorious to this day.

Yes indeed Chris I believe our trees are part of the same anti-man resistance, which region does your tree control?

My tree commands the north and west regions as head of the 7th Legionnaire of Gaea. Perhaps our insurrectionist friends should get aquainted? It appears my hero's legion has friends after all.
