I work at an awfully boring place that handles lots and lots of confidential documents for law firms, financial institutions, and such. We take enormous boxes of documents and turn them into digital files using magic. Boring magic.

Well, yesterday my boss let us know that a potential new client was going to be touring the facilities today, and seeing if they want to use us. I suppose this explains why, as I was working unconsiously, Ian, Piratey, and Sam (wearing an obviously fake moustache, perhaps for this task) ended up being the potential client. They looked around at things, poked things, and asked ridiculous questions. At some point I think I figured out that they were gaining leverage against another organization. I realized that they'd make us do all sorts of bizarre things and then eventually tell my boss that they'd settled on another company, but I didn't care, because it meant that I wouldn't be so insanely bored for at least one day's worth of work. Piratey broke character at one point and rubbed my head furiously. This happens to me sometimes.

I think I missed Piratey and was wanting anything more exciting than my job to happen.
