(nearly) Pointless by JTony Loves Brains

I had considered putting something literal and frivolous in here as praxis, but I'm finding my thoughts being anything but frivolous.
Lately I'm going through a tough time, and I'm feeling the rather existential impact such a time gives anyone's life. What is the point of getting up in the morning. Why subject myself to the humiliations of a job search and an apartment search and the crap of going back and forth to San Francisco from Oakland on public transit. And all without much companionship, mostly enjoying my daily defeats alone. Why? What is the point when it feels this bad?
Of course, there is a point. I can't articulate it, and most days I can't even really see it... just sense it hanging out just beyond my grasp.
So, for me, right now, life and just getting out of bed continues to be (nearly) pointless.
PS... this isn't a plea for help or even sympathy. It is really just the best, most true completion I have for this task. I figure that this is what keeps SF0 from being just a game.

At the intersection of the serious and the silly, wonderful things can happen. It's a region that makes most people uncomfortable, and is therefore explored not nearly often enough.
This is a truly surprising and novel completion of the task.
p.s. Love the upside down villain face. Watching the wave of villainic personalification move through the player list is really fun.

I found this very touching. Almost frighteningly so, because I know these feelings so well myself.
I did get up, by-the-way. =}
