La Moustache Fausse by Kassitastrophe, zer0gee

November 7th, 2008 1:13 AM / Location: 41.889112,-88.31654

INSTRUCTIONS: Execute an epic addition of a false mustache to a publicly-viewable image (or multiple publicly-viewable images) over which you do not have original creative control.

Mustache Rides!

zer0gee and Kassitastrophe are pimpin' out the ridable mustaches for your pleasure!

We made our 'staches from fake fur and attached magnets to the backs of them. Our rule was that we could only use vehicles for this praxis that the mustaches would actually adhere to - non-magnetic transport was off limits. However, as you can see below, it was difficult to prevent ourselves from mustaching magnetic objects that were not vehicles.

Most of the rides in this praxis were unoccupied at the time of the alterations, with two exceptions. The Elgin street sweeper guy was pretty bemused at zer0gee's request to mustache and photograph his truck, though he declined her offer to choose from the available mustaches himself. The four burly Chicago city workers manning the Public Works tree-trimming truck gave zer0gee strange looks, but nevertheless agreed to allow her to violate their vehicle.

Excellent moustache-shape representation.

Charmed, I'm sure!

I love it! I'm glad you expanded your additions to non-cars as they were some of my favorites. I'm now inspired to add a giant mustache to my fridge!

Ah haha, this is hilarious. Plus a bonus point for involving random people in your task, and for "moustache rides". This is excellent.

Thanks! I have realized since posting this that the Chicago Public Works guys are actually visible in the photo of the big blue tree trimming truck - look toward the lower left of the picture to see them.

Never put down the moustache. As Lincoln "takes a picture everyday" you should "moustache atleast one thing everyday" Great job, very amusing.

Amazing how much fun you can have with some felt, a sticky magnet and a sense of humour.

Built Ford Tough is my second favorite, but Wonderbread takes the 'stache. ~Waldo

I don't know how I missed this. Definite 5-vote when I can.
