Make A Task: The Task by Eddie Arlette

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a task for the game San Francisco Zero. To add a task:

1) Go to your character page. You know, your home base (click your photo in the upper right once you're logged in).

2) Look in the second row of navigation up at the top. Click "add task".

3) You'll be taken to a form where you can name and describe your task, give it a location in SF (if it's location-based), assign it to one of the five groups (or "general"), and suggest a required score and the number of points the task awards.

4) You can add more than one task - they'll all be listed on your home page - but you can only get these 30 points once.

Once you add your task, you can complete this task. We'll make this automatic one of these days...

After taking the Dashiell Hammett walking tour a few months ago, I got interesting in re-reading Hammett's works. (While he's famous for Sam Spade and the Thin Man, most of his short stories and novels feature the Continental Op.) Lo and behold, I discovered Hammett was a regular at a notorious speakeasy (and smuggling site) on the San Mateo Coast.

So I designed the Smuggler's Cove task
http://bartpa.sf0.org/taskDetail/?taskID=576 in his honor as a way for players to discover a bit of local lore and discover life outside the city. I assigned it to BART PA as a way of encouraging collaboration among players in hopes that players from other groups will team up on this task.

Still waiting for the task to be assigned a score.
