Player Manipulation by Ohrlyeh Totenkinder, Rabbit, bigglesworth

May 31st, 2007 6:44 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Manipulate another player into unknowingly completing a task for you.

We orchestrated this and granted, a majority of people knew that they were doing this for task there were several who joined in which were not privy to the PM's discussing the task completion. They fell in rank led by the masses. AS BLIND AS THE ORACLE, THEY FOLLOWED THE WAR DRUMS INTO BATTLE.

P00n:
Also, I never flagged or posted a false task. I did not participate in the destruction once it began. I allowed my minions that privilege. I took refuge with Mr. Bigglesworth and Rabbit by my side atop the mountain and watched the smoke billowing from the thatched roofs of SF0. Nay, we used not MANIPULATION to succeed, but only our superb powers of leadership to drive these players into a frenzy: A BLOOD THIRSTY HORDE OF RUBINS!!, which descended from the hills screaming for burritos, Kriss Kross and Dance Dance Revolution!!!!!!

THEY DID IT FOR ME!!!

THEY DID IT FOR P00n!!!!!!!

How will I use these powers in the future? will they be for good or for evil? it is up to you to decide.

Didn't we all know the Rubin massing would be used for I Am Spartacus, thus rendering this proof useless...?

ahem.... rendering ALL other proofs useless that use the escapades of rubin en masse? unless it's something newly done, right?

i do like rubins gladiating, but you shoot yourself in the foot with "nay, we used not manipulation to succeed..."

No, not everyone knew, as I mentioned in the proof. there were at least 3 individuals added after the chaos who were not privy to the PMs

AND...

manipulation/leadership...eh... it's all in the semantics

you can refer back to the task completion by clicking "this" in the text.

here is an excerpt

A Rubin messaged me earlier today as I’m sure he did you, with an amazing PLAN OF SF0 TOTAL DISRUPTION. Together We shall complete I am Spartacus and undermine the system of control by which Sf0 dictates our actions.

His plan is to submit false tasks...AS THE ORIGIONATOR OF OUR MOB I WHOLE HEARTEDLY AGREE, BUT WE MUST DO MORE!!!

THE FACIEST POINT SYSTEM MUST BE TORN DOWN!

I propose we collectively flag every single non Rubin task until everyone has been returned to 0 an we remain alone in a position of POWER!!

Any of you feeling that this move is a little beyond your moral capabilities then feel free to simply submit false tasks, but remember the creators will be able to eventually right our actions and re instate all disapproved tasks. Also once a task is Xed you cannot resubmit it so any false proofs you make will be lost from later completing

and remember

I AM RUBIN!!

There was constant maintenance during the event fielding emails from the overly excited as well as the timid in an attempt to keep everyone on track. I will post a thorough list of these conversations if need be.

I'm not sure that "Hey do this task!" really counts as manipulation...

It wasn't so much "hey do this task" as it was the direct rally and organization behind the raid and then not participating. we constructed the circumstance by which others would complete the task for us. If I had acted in the "raid" instead of manipulating the situation so that it would happen apart from my direct involvement then I can see how this would be iffy. Also in the message I posted there is no direct reference to any task completion. There was mention of several task possibilities through out the event by other parties, but I personally confirmed Spartacus until well into the event.

"Also in the message I posted there is no direct reference to any task completion."

But in the message...

"Together We shall complete I am Spartacus and undermine the system of control by which Sf0 dictates our actions"

If that's not a direct reference to a task completion, then I don't know what is..

well damn,
