I have that same tattoo on my back. The winged sun disk is a magical thing...
The main answer to the question is limitations: limitation of photographic skill (these pictures are from three months and one camera ago) and limitation of equipment (two 100W bulbs as lighting). I've gotten better since then through forcing myself to take pictures daily, and I've gotten better equipment (camera, backdrop, and lighting).
In retrospect, I should've pushed the ISO up to 400 and used a higher shutter speed. If I recall correctly, I did these at ISO 100 at a pretty slow shutter speed.
Thanks a ton for the feedback!
Seriously, taking pictures daily is the only way. I'm frustrated with my photography all the time. I would love to see these redone some day...I love fine art nude photography...it's can be so much fun!
A lot of us here are big fans of nudity!!! Yeah nekdness....
I like the conclusion....
I love the images. I wish there was a back light to separate the back ground from your body. Also, is your choice of having your images slightly darker because you want to hide body parts? I would like to see more highlights and midtones to even out the shadows. Sorry...I had to photo geek out for a second.
