Capture a Flag by Wulfgang McFee

November 29th, 2007 8:48 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Capture a flag.

In my curiously pointless yet eternal quest to retain some originality and spark of the so-called "unique", I debated with myself regarding the viability of setting up some real-life "flag capturing" situation versus using an existing flag-capturing mechanic.

By participating in this egotistical debate, I was once again reminded of a part of my own personal mission with regards to sf0 and my unique place within Biome - the virtual world of the internet is also a living structure of physical, subatomic objects and electro-organisms.

Witness, for instance, my praxis for Pi, wherein myself and a collaborator used the models of our cities that are stored inside Google's computers to determine a measurement of Pi. We completed that praxis without pesky odometers or normal measurement devices, by using the "omega city" that is the internet.

Thusly, I can show via screenshot that I - with the sole intent of fulfilling my sf0 goals - captured a flag. By utilizing the electroorganism of my World of Warcraft avatar - itself a communications-based parasite that survives by living off the organism that is me - I fulfilled the mission requested.

So I ask you to validate my study of the ElectroBiome of the internet by voting for this Praxis, despite how lame you might initially believe it to be.

I'm a sucker for a well-rationalized praxis. Especially if my first impression suggests it's lame.

Beware, oh enemy!

Oh, I'm going to go out and totally do this WAY LESS LAME. Just because you be-foed me. Lamo.

A vote for my foe, who has better flag-capturing skills than I.

Stu knows genius when she sees it.

Or she's patronizing me, which is kind of foe-like.

You get a vote for fancy language.

There need be no shame to ease

Your aggregate interests made this task simple, as your proof demonstrates. Why eschew acknowledging that it was undemanding when this merely illuminates the harmoniousness of your life-style?
